Ryan Coogler Reflects on Chadwick Boseman's Lasting Legacy

  When filmmaker Ryan Coogler recently sat down with The Breakfast Club , the conversation turned to something-or, rather,  someone   who  changed his life both personally and professionally: the late Chadwick Boseman. The Black Panther director opened up about the depth of Boseman’s impact, not just as the star of the groundbreaking 2018 Marvel film, but as a mentor, a quiet force of discipline, and a lasting influence on everyone he worked with, especially Michael B. Jordan. Boseman, who portrayed King T’Challa with unwavering grace and authenticity, passed away in 2020 at the age of 43 after a private battle with colon cancer.
